just come back from 2 weeks holiday in the usa now im planning a 2 week holiday in august but for a change i want to stay in the uk the question is where bearing in mind i need to occupy the kids 1 of which is a stroppy 18 year old daughter so ideas please :y

weymouth is my all time fave place in england ;)
ive just come back from scotland as i was on business there (work in dunfermline but stayed in edinburgh) we had a great time (in our free time)

weymouth is good. 8-) :y There are caravan pks, but haven't used therefore can't recommend. :-/

ive been there before but this time they had the night time german market and was lovely ;) found the most quaint pub ever on the royal mile ;)

Wall, if i was you I would be booking up somewhere in Spain as it would be much cheaper than staying here for a holiday as you dont have the luxuary of a big white box loike some of us ;) ;D

well weve decided on scotland not sure where yet but not a chance of leaving the stroppy one at home as no doubt i would have to kill her on return despite the fact we did say any parties and you will be homeless i dont think it sunk in blue i have been toying getting a pikey wagon but dont know if i can bring myself to do it ;D ;D

If you all love the great outdoors I would highly recommend the Lake District Millwall :D :D
You can go boating, sailing,hiking, go on minature and standard guage railways, or just chill out enjoying the stunning scenery from a lake cruiser! Plus there are plenty of good pubs and resturants, along with cafes :y :y :y
Then you can just tour in your car, and maybe go off into the beautiful Highlands of Scotland for a change, as I once did, before returning to the Lakes. 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) ;)

just booked 3 nights in a travelodge in edinburgh for £90 and booked the flights for £199 with flybe for a little honeymoon for me and mrs bertie when we get hitched in sept.... never been to edinburgh so we r both looking forward to it..... :) ;)
