Yeah ok, i know non bikers won't like it & bikers probably won't either but look at it from my point of view. I cannot behave on two (or one) wheels so i will either die or get banned which is why i sold my Bandit & that was only a 600. I've never taken a bike test, i wish i did when i was riding a KH 250 on L plates @ 17 & i've had a few bikes since that i should'nt have done but something like this would suit me as it's a big cruising thumper & i'd be in no rush, same as i am in the Cortina.

A licence saver & no bike test needed! 8-)

Nah, get a proper bike again Guy. ;)...........might know where theres a CBR600 for sale soon.Imacculate condition, mature owner, never been thrashed...... ::) ;D ;D ;D
Dont worry about all that license stuff - just paperwork. I got away with it until I was nearly 40, and"went all responsible". :-X :-[ ::)

Sorry mate. Not into sportbikes. Ridden a 900 Blade, 750 Ninja, Gixer & an R6. Great bikes don't get me wrong but i'm not into riding with my arse in the air wearing matching gay leathers. Plastic bikers! ;D

I took my test on an RD250. It constanty oiled up unless you screamed the living daylights out of it so I was bimbling past the examiner (on foot in those days) and as soon as I turned the corner was reving the balls off it to stop it fouling up. I moved on to suzuki 2 strokes and had the 380 and 550 before finally seeing sense and moving on to honda fours. Jap bikes in the seventies, nothing quite like stainless steel discs, yokohama rubber and twisty frames to get the bowels moving. I wonder nowadays how the hell I ever made it to my twenties.  :o

Tried quads. Can't behave on them either & if you don't behave on a quad you die. Also any quad worth having costs so no. No point in doing my bike licence as i'd buy a 1200 Bandit, die or get banned, same thing in my case, without a licence i'd earn half what i do now, i have no other trade or skill & the dole is'nt an option as i'm a home owner & would like to stay that way thankyou!

So it's either a trike, a little 125 crosser/enduro to play around on locally (new cbt of course) or nowt.

I reckon i should have grandad rights to a 250 as i was of the age back in the day. I'd be happy with a 250 trially type thing just to smoke around on.....KMX 125's with the 200 engine fitted are a giggle....mmmmmm ::)

I know mate. I would'nt buy one as a bike but it would keep me alive & legal as it's a thumper.
A couple of years ago i was outbid on a bobber style trike based on a GS 750 (i had a bike version years ago, only the GS1000 was better!) but i'd want to wind it as it's a 4 potter, the v twin i'd cruise & that's what i need. :y

Talking of bike tests or lack of them...  :o

I did mine back in the days when the bloke stood on the corner and told you to go round the block.......  ::)

So I did as instructed, but being abit nervous I forgot that I'd turned the petrol tap off ( Why!? :o), and half way round the block I spluttered to a halt... :( Barsteward!!!!! >:(

My Yamaha RXS100 didn't have electric start so I'm kicking it over like a donkey on acid till it eventually fires.... :y Then I'm off like a cat with something red hot up it's... :o till I get to the last corner, then I'm like Grandad on his scooter... :y

Average speed springs to mind!!   :y :y :y  and yes I passed!!! WooHoo!!! :y :y :y
