I would never do that to anyone..sorry I lie, there is one member... :D :D :-X My point is that posts like this just reinforce my increasing age which I am having some trouble coming to terms with.... :'( :'(

Not much point listening to someone who rips off the Beatles (very badly imo), might as well listen to the real thing. ;)
I am biased though, I hate him and only dislike his brother slightly less. :)

albs T.O, you silly boy hahahaha
only joking mate. youre right theyre both idiots.
however, two things i will say...... i dont think they ever ripped off the beatles.... afterall oasis is kick arse rock music and the beatles were pop, rock n roll and psychadelic (my fave period of their music).
secondly they freely praise and love the beatles and note them as one of their main influences. dontg think you can knock them for that ;)
and one last thing about the brothers. yeah theyre cocks...... buuuut what sort of a rock band needs a squeeky clean lead singer and song writer? you need an arrogant sod for that to work. imo :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

It's a lot better than I expected.
Personally however, I am more eager to see what Noel puts out, hopefully something acoustic. If you havn't seen his acoustic work, I recommend it, it's awesome.

that was my thought.... however people always thought of him as being carried by noel (whic hto be fair was prob true early doors) but liam was writing stuff for oasis last two albums. and ''shock of the lightning'' is banging tune!!!!!!!!!!
is noel gonna bring stuff out??? i reckon he will wait a little while to see how beady eye gets on!!!!!
ps if you aint heard it in a while crackon ''dig out your soul''. absolutely brilliant album and shows they were still bringing out great stuff. imo
-
ps re his acoustic work... i have masterplan. is there anything else in addition?

From the 2007 Teenage Cancer Trust gigs was an album 'The Dreams we have as Children', with an appearance from Paul Weller. Also, on Youtube, the Oasis MTV Unplugged gig, where Liam decided last minute not to take part.
I havn't listened to Dig out your soul recently, I shall soon. Can't believe it's coming up to 2 years ago I saw them in Wembley.

Never ripped off the beatles ? ..... the intro to dont look back in anger ;).....strictly speaking its Lennon, but close enough. ;)
Ps. I thought lennon was a bit of a dick as well - forever swimming against the tide me. ::) :D ;D

that intro was copied from john's 'imagine'. :y :y :y :y
this is where i believe wires are crossed because you are saying its a ''rip off'' but its not. its a tribute to the beatles as they adore the beatles. they include loooooads of beatles lyrics in their songs.
take your example of dont look back in anger.... the intro is imagine by JL but then the rest is their own song which is an absolute classic :y :y :y :y

Might be a generation thing Webby. Im convinced that there was very little music made after the mid 70,s which is of any artistic or creative value whatsoever. ;) :D
