Any member anywhere near BS24? I need a big favour. I need a musical keyboard picking up from someone there TOMORROW!!!!! There is no urgency in getting it to me or me getting to you, it just HAS to be picked up tomorrow.

I don't mind paying for petrol, I just need this favour. SO, any takers?

If you are feeling adventurous mate! There MUST be someone near there who can at least pick it up? Maybe drop it off at someone a bit nearer Nottingham?

BS24? According to google maps thats Western Super Mud isnt it?

If you dont get anyone closer to go Fin, i can pop there in the morning.

yeah, no problem.  I'll play that old favourite of mine, 'When a forum mate asks for some help, don't come forward'. It was a hit in the 1960's for Ivor Helpedmany. ;)

That is true. but as this is a £15,000 keyboard that cost me £2000, I don't mind travelling. Normally I would have just gone and got it, which is what I will do next week, but this week I was not fit enough to drive long distance.

(or did you mean £1500 for £200 ... which is fairly normal.....  )

seriously though , when in need of such toys, or desperate help down this end of the world, or checking soething out , you only need yell.....    

I have an alter ego elsewhere Fin...    working in professional audio, both technically and musically......   and I'm always willing to help out .


(i'm useless for fixing cars....    but if you need audio engineering/music skills/knowledge/general chat....   Jaime and Dave (and probably Mark) have my phone number... address and what not.)
