Well, its so good to be back on a proper forum. I recently bought an old range rover and thought I,d join the landy forum for any useful hints and advice. Not one reply, no welcome note, nothing. I read through some of the threads posted there and was totally baffled as to what goes on there. Its nice to be among real people and i dont think I,ll bother signing in with that odd bunch again. :D

Not wrong there OatCakeKev. My bro-in-law was looking at getting a Jaguar a year or so ago. He joined a Jaguar forum and posted a question as to which diesel was the best option. He got one reply in three days.
I posted the same question here and got three replies in ten minutes. :y

I posted a question about an intermittent shake through the steering and all i got back was a complete load of nonsense, a stream of F words and nothing to do with my question whatsoever. Not sure what it was all about, but wont bother there again. I didnt know that Darth was a son of the 'holy land' like me lol. I,m a refugee now, live in Penzance. ::)

Hello Millwall, you drive a Rover 75? :-[

it was out of desperation really. I bought a catering trailer and thought that my diesel miggy would have enough grunt to tow it. the bloke who sold it to me said it weighed about 1 tonne. My poor old gal really struggled with it and I used a full tank of fuel to cover just over 200 miles...ouch :'( I have since found out it weighs just under 2 tonnes so thats why I bought the range rover. big ugly noisy brute, but it zips along with that trailer as though it isnt there. :y

the quality of a forum is all down to the admin and their hard work.
