Title: Claying

Got up this morning to spend a day on the car, full valet, including a full CLAYING.

Typical Welsh Weather, it is Pi**ing it down

not with a clay bar by any chance?..Oh and if it makes you feel any better its been pissing down in Peckham all day up to about half hour ago :y

Yep, clay bar and lubricant, my mate did his yesterday and it looks absolutly fantastic, clayed, waxed and glossed, the shine looks like a wet look.

I have the wet look already without the 4 hours waxing ;D ;D

Yep, clay bar and lubricant, my mate did his yesterday and it looks absolutly fantastic, clayed, waxed and glossed, the shine looks like a wet look.

I have the wet look already without the 4 hours waxing ;D ;D

I bought a couple of cleaning bits from a website yesterday, and they had the clay bars, just wondered what they used them for, did'nt check it out on the site. Bought some meguirs stuff for cleaning the chrome exhaust and something else :-/ :)

Not bad, I am now enlightened, may have to try some of that, this is the site I came across yesterday, pretty slow loading though, interesting to know if you experience the same problem going into the site and browsing.

No mate, had no issues loading the pages etc, Id try switching off then back on, if not go to plan B, ask the computer to pick a window.
