Title: Ray Tupper.
Post by: albitz on 05 April 2011, 00:17:24
I recieved a PM a few days ago, which I thought had revealed the secret of Rays identity. I now think this was a red herring.
After having read his posts since, I am now pretty sure that it is someone else. This someone else, is someone who swore hand on heart recently that it wasnt them, but there are clues in the style of writing. Even though it is reasonably well disguised. ;)
Anyone want to have a guess ? :)

Guesed it was a piss take with in the 1st few posts, but have narrowed it down to about 4/5 people, and one being from liverpool residing in wakefirled comes to mind, but not at the top of the list. :-/

I've had an exchange of views with 'Mr Tupper' on more than one occasion over the past few months and I am indeed privy to her/his real identity.

The only thing I can say at the moment is that many in the membership will be astounded should she/he ever reveal the person behind the name.

The job itself is easy enough the problem I have had was all the paneling I have had to remove to get access, I guess it is my fault though cos I put it there... ::) ::)  It was supposed to be easily removed, but after 10 years, well yes, some of it is broken...I blame the hammer and annoyance.... :D :D :D

Some time ago i invented a fictional member called Sarah.C. complete with avatar pic & a borrowed email address from a non member. Funny as break for a couple of days, some of you were like flies round the proverbial offering help repairing a car that had'nt broken down & she was highly welcomed in the newbie area. I was sprung by the admin team by the IP?server thingy??? but it was all in good humour. The fact Ray's lasted more than a couple of days tells me it's an admin or an admin is in cahoots.

I'm also wondering if there's an anagram of Ray Tupper or should it be pronounced "right up her"?

Slowly the net closes........Elementary my dear admin!!! :D

This is true - from the New Orleans Times - a lot of names for you lot to work on - maybe some will appear in the future on this site. Where are Bill Oddie and Graeme Garden?

"Carl Ray Tupper was born on November 2, 1940 and lived to be 70 years old. Carl was the  husband of Linda McGowan Tupper. He was the  father of four children: Lisa Potter, Courtney Johnson, Stacey Fassbender, and Scott Tupper and three sons-in-law
Richard Potter, Steven Johnson, and Ron Fassbender and daughter-in-law Dawn Deffner Tupper. Carl was the grandfather of Alex Avgikos, Leigh Ann Loban,
Rachel Leininger, Madison, Harris, and Terryn Potter, Jeremy, Tom, Alice and Erin Potter, Tyler, Tate and Kara Johnson, Quinn and Blaine Fassbender, Patrick
and Brooke Tupper, and ten great-grandchildren. He was the founder and proprietor of BSI Comics, Inc., for 30 years."

I am rather intrigued why people are fastenated by my name?
I am a 78 year old man that has had a fantastic life especially when I was young, is this why you are all so jealous? I was in 7 Blue Films where I was doing the business as fast as they could get under me...
I moved on from that and met my wife Myra who I have been married to for over 50 happy years together.
I have 3 children.
An Omega that I had a number of years ago now that still serves me well.
I enjoy a bit of fun.
What else would you have from me?

I am rather intrigued why people are fastenated by my name?
I am a 78 year old man that has had a fantastic life especially when I was young, is this why you are all so jealous? I was in 7 Blue Films where I was doing the business as fast as they could get under me...
I moved on from that and met my wife Myra who I have been married to for over 50 happy years together.
I have 3 children.
An Omega that I had a number of years ago now that still serves me well.
I enjoy a bit of fun.
What else would you have from me?

Ray  :-?[/quote

I've only ever heard that saying once before  ::)

At first I thought it was the lying scouser from Wakefield.
Then I changed my mind and decided it was the Stokie mentalist. When confronted with this the stokie swore on everything that is preciuos and holy that it was most certainly not him. This made me all the more convinced that it was him.
I remained convinced of this until earlier today, when I noticed that Ray had used the word "oh" but spelt it "ow". The only person I know on here who does that is MarkDTM, so I then became convinced it was him. He swore on everything that is precious and holy that it certainly wasnt him - he has always been either on an areoplane or driving a car when RT has posted. This convinced me all the more that it was him.
I think the answer is that Ray Tupper is an amalgam of the admin team, and they all sign in as him and wind us all up. ::)

Now that is an interesting thought, and would explain the differences in how posts could be identified by the style of writing...Interesting.... ;) ;) ;)

1. I am not from Stoke.
2. I am not from Liverpool.
3. I have been a member on here under a different name.
4. I have met a number of the older members.
5. I have seen my Original name mentioned on the Forum.

Could be, but I would be surprised tbh. He rejoined last year, and spat his dummy in a big way after a few weeks. Iirc he reckoned we were a bunch of racists. ::)

This forum is a Helpful place for all. It has a Help Area for people that have problems with there cars, which as a rule get help within a short space of time. There is another section for people to even post about any car other than Omegas, which also gets help and ideas thrown in. The General area seems to be an area for anything, which also involves some fun. There has been numerous posts saying if you don't like it don't read. Perhaps if you don't find it funny do just that! I do think you people need to lighten up. I honestly don't care what you think of me
, as I sure as eggs are eggs don't give a rats arse about you and the other killjoys. I do however care what happens to the forum.
Does it look good when you cry, spit out your dummy then go tree hugging? Then come back and do it all over again?

Just my opinion nothing more.  :y

I think you're right Albs... Because I know who's style this is written in ::) ::)

I, like you, have suspected a few of the Admin team at different times so perhaps it is all of them :-? :-?
