So he takes a budget flight, gets pi$$ ripped out of him, if he took private flight, pi$$ would have been taken.

Bet if he drove greenies would have taken the pi$$, he can't win!

Imo it was a PR stunt which was setup to portray him as a common man who is tightening his belt like everyone else.
A piece of spin that Alistair Cambell would hevebeen proud of. ;)
Having said that,it is still a lot better than Bliar and Cherie Antoinette flying around the world in private jets laid on by their rich (and mostly crooked) friends, who then had paid for the right to have access to law makers and power brokers in order to ensure that they always got what they wanted. Coming from a party which boasts of its working class credentials, and a PM,s wife who says she is a working class scouser - and says it with a straight face,I always found that particularily stomach churning. >:(

hang on a minute here, I simply posted that not matter what Mr Cameron does he gets the yellow stuff taken out of him.

If Bertie had such strong political views that if anyone disagreed within him, he would get upset, should he have posted?

Was I rude to him? No
Any abusive comments? No

Did I simply state my opinion, totally within forum guidelines? Yes.

I'm not going to loose any sleep on it, if he wants to throw his handbag on the ground and storm off, fine by me  :y

I have often been of the opinion that Tunnie opens his mouth to change feet, but on this occasion I cant see what he did or said which was in any way offensive. I have always found Bertie to be a reasonable and not easily offended fella, so I imagine he may well have read Tunnies post in a bit of a hurry and got the wrong impression.
I hope he reads it again slowly - and changes his mind. ;)

Tunnie i think Bertie took it as you were having a go at him for slating David Cameron, as opposed to stating the facts which is all you did, as you know!

never mind eh

Cam deserves to have the pi$$ taken out of him, takin a bloody ryanair flight isnt exactly gonna make up for the mess they're causing

Mark, despite our differing opinions on smoking/caravans we still get on pretty well & have done since your student bum Senny days. There are times when i read your posts & think you're the youngest member of the grumpy old mens club but much as i love Gary i can't see any offence on your part.

Hope this gets resolved while it's still a minor issue, Guy. :y
