What size wheel/tyre can you fit while lowered -40mm?

Well I have 18" irmscher sport stars with 245 40 18 tyres fitted

Lowering a car makes no difference to what wheel size you can fit.

Increasing the wheel diameter means lowering the tyre profile to keep the rolling radius correct.

As for the max size, I know 19" rims work with no arch mods, but I wouldn't recommend them with our potholed roads.

it says in this link that if you lower the omega more than -35mm that the car will need "arch work"?

also, whats this i hear about self leveling suspension on the rear? would this cause problems?

What a strange article.! Seems to have been written for a different car and then had a few words changed to "suit" the Omega. Loved the bit where they wrote off the agricultural diesel. Obviously not heard of chipping. ;D ;D ;D

Recommend fitting an anti-roll bar ??  :-?  (Another one ??  :-? :-?)

Best of all, 'The Omega was designed to take on the Vectra'  ;D ;D

Dunno about TorqueCars, but they certainly 'Torque'dangle berries'' ;D
