We're trying a new contract with Samskip/Geest 45ft box work out of Queen Elizabeth dock, Hull. I & another driver have been guinea pigs for the first week. (think my gaffer's slowly trusting me again!!) The work's ok but what with Bridge tolls (£18.30 each way) you are out all week. We have to use diesel cards as we can't get back to the yard to fill up so at the end of the month rates & costs will be offset & we'll see if it pays.
I kind of hope it does as it's a good earner albieit a bit of a slog. Back on our usual work next week. :)

But just think of the exes at the end of the week. ;D

Tax free cash to cover your expenses for a night in the cab V. Used to appear in a brown envelope seperate from your wage on payday when I was on the wagons.
