Title: Calor lorries
Post by: Nickbat on 17 April 2011, 18:37:25
They've got themselves some nice British-built tankers. The problem is that the EU says "No".

clearly a case of the permanent member in brussels not doing his job, i'm all for safety within reason but how many lpg tankers have gone up in the last god knows how many years since carting the stuff around,, i think they don't just shoot britain in the foot but the whole eu the only difference is that Britain takes it all on board and controls this shite where as most of the eu doesn't know what's going on and don't really give a monkies

I'd ask who's idea was it to buy new tankers that don't comply with EU regulations? doesnt that seem a bit stupid? and why are a Dutch company who regularly screw their British customers suddenly now coming over all patriotic?  ;D

but anyway, like mrgreen says, just ignore it, really, what would happen? i'd be quite fascinated to find out - give me a shout i'll get the popcorn  ;)
