We got the portastudio out and setup in the back garden, no need to worry about upsetting the neighbours as they brought their instruments with them  ;D

Apart from this forum, I had no idea it was St George's Day.

I have heard and seen nothing, yet when it is st Patrick's day, there is a long lead-up

Anyway....ST GEORGE forever :y :y :y :y :y :y :y

Yes, a happy St. George's Day to all. :y

In spite of being under the malign influence of unelected bodies, in spite of a growing trend where personal satisfaction and aggrandisement comes before nation, this country retains real substance - long may She continue to do so.

May have to pop into Birmingham city centre for some annual st. george's day fare.

The reluctance to go large on this celebration could be for fear of upsetting some other religious folk in some way.

You know what us Brits are like....

We don't like to make a fuss !!!!  :-?

Happy St. George's Day !!!!    8-) ::)

Funnily enough, that's why the bank holiday is in May, because otherwise it would clash with Easter. So it gets moved to keep the Christians happy.
