I feel I owe many an apology for a off-the-cuff Tongue-in-cheek remark I had made on a thread yesterday.
Whilst at the time it made me chuckle, on reflection I realise it was and is in bad taste.
I would have picked up on this earlier, but I have been offline since yesterday.
So I sincerely apologise to anyone I may have offended, and especially to Daz, who was the brunt of the joke.
Sorry :-[

I did see it, and found it mildly amusing.....however i can see why some peeps got upset about it.

Well done, it takes a lot of courage to admit you may have made a mistake :y :y

Much appreciated TB, I cant find the thread but I think I was about the first to jump on it. I had my reasons, this subject being particularly raw to me this week for reasons I will not go into on here.
I understand it was meant in a jokey way, and I appreciate that I might have over reacted to a general comment for which I also apologise..... :)

I was quite surprised at the joke, there are somethings that you don't joke about but fair play for the apology :y

I missed this & the last one. Not on here or involved as full time as i used to be. Probably for the best given my gob.
Best i stay out of such antics, happy to leave you all to it nowadays!
That said, i dunno what the joke was or it's level of bad taste suffice to say i can see the funny side of taboo topics that in real terms offend me as much as other folk.
Humour is a strange & varied animal.

Sad to say , you are quite right. I know nothing of the origin of this thread, but can understand, by my own experiences, how people react. :y
I remember, a situation with my dad, who passed away 30 years ago this last week aged 58, and, call me a wuss, but I still miss him dearly. We still laugh about the following incident now in his absence.
My mother wanted her piano moved and me and my brother helped dad do it. Unfortunately the piano went over his foot, causing massive swelling, and the loss of his toenail :(
But all I could do at the time, whilst he hopped up and down the hallway swearing and cursing, was to roll around the floor laughing :( ;D
Sometimes, we all laugh at others misfortune, and me being one of the worst, we must stop and try to think of others before we 'take action'.
To appologise shows humility and status........to accept an appology is equal !!!!!!!!!!!!
