Title: Royal Fail/snail.
Post by: albitz on 03 May 2011, 17:07:07
I posted five packages to members last wednesday. Two of them (in the south of England) arrived on Weds. The third - to Scotland, arrived on Friday. The third - to Wales, hasnt arrived yet. The forth - airmail to the republic of Ireland, also hasnt arrived yet.
Both members are anxious about the whereabouts of their parts, and at least one of them has his car sat in a garage awaiting the parts turning up.
I feel embarrassed/ guilty etc. about this. Perhaps I should have sent them recorded or whatever, but I sent them first class, which according the Royal Snail, normally arrives the next day. Its been six days now, and they are still waiting. :-[ :'(

I've been lucky and never had a parcel go missing but I always get proof of postage just to show I have sent it. I know its no consolation for the person waiting for the parts but at least it shows your not telling porkies ;)

Borrox, trust you to notice. Should have read "arrived Thurs".
Just heard that the part to Ireland arrived today. Just poor Bigyin in Wales waiting for his part now - which he needs desperately. :(

I'd expect the ROI one to arrive tomorrow . Bank holiday will have slowed it up.
I had a mate post a small package from Scotland on the 29 March by Royal Mail and it arrived on 26 th of April with a label on it stating that it had to by overland and not be flown for some reason .  :-?

It's not just Royal Fail,
City link has been playing havoc with my latest ebay sales.

Saying they've attempted delivery, but the buyer has no card left etc,
Then saying they will try again the next day, then not showing up again till 5 days later.....

Useless....but cheaper than royal fail
