Title: Richie Rich
Post by: Lazydocker on 01 May 2011, 14:22:17
Those of us who are friends with him on Facebook will know what this is about!

Richie, hope you're feeling OK and make sure you report what happened... It could have been a lot worse! Don't let it get to you and make sure you don't lock yourself away because of it ;)

If you need to rant, feel free.... I'll listen :y

Did he get drunk down the local boozer and pulled a 'bird' with a oversized adam's apple?   ;D ;D

Yes, I read that, too. I hope you're soon feeling better, Richie! :y

A very nasty business, indeed.  >:(

Having maintained my virginity where this doyen of social networking is concerned, I'm unaware of Richie’s present plight.

I knew he was about to have some treatment for a long standing medical condition, so I hope that things have gone as well as could have been expected.

Thoughts are with you Richie. :-* :-* 8-) :y

So rather than posting on a wall or inboxing him, post on a public car forum.

Cliques are so cool.

I refuse point blank to sign up to that gay dating site, so I have no idea what this is all about...

TBH, I was surprised that no-one else had posted about it.

I will say that it's nothing to do with his treatment but wanted people who do know to show their support if they wished! He's had an experience that could have very nasty results and needs the support of friends ;) I'm sure he'll explain when online, but it's up to him ;)

Just wanted to show some support :y

If this is about his ongoing medical problem & he's had/ having the treatment he mentioned, then as I said when he posted about that issue, we here at the PhilRich household are keeping him in our thoughts & i'm absolutely sure his many mates & aquaintances on here are doing precisely the same! Chin Up Richie mate & get well soon  ;) :y

Well it's obviously serious enough to warrant concern for his well being with the original thread.  And some members of OOF knowing what's going on if you happen to be an avid FB're.

However, to be honest, from the original OP not all of us are on FB or want to be, so the thread is a bit of mystery to some of us.

There are quite a few of us OOF'rs on here and its difficult to keep up with all of what's happening to everyone of us (as for me I don't read every thread that's posted).

Nothing personal to RR or you LD but it is kind of a vague thread to some of us on here with the way it was written.  But understand that it’s something personal for RR to be going through.

I honestly don't know the full story of what's going on.  But hope all is going okay / well for you RR if you are reading this.

Regards
GM  :y

This is getting a bit silly. I can well understand why poeple are a bit miffed that they do not know what the situation is and it is frustrating for them to just be informed of a small titbit of news about someone who is so well liked on here.

Therefore, without revealing too much detail (and hoping that Richie doesn't mind) I feel I ought to say that he was the victim of an unprovoked and serious physical assault last night. >:(

My thoughts are with him, especially after all he has been suffering of late. :(   :(

hi folks.
i was walking home about 12pm saturday night when u reached the corner of my rd 2 africans from nowhere came at me from behind. 1 drop kicked me in the back, as i hit the deck the other one kicked me in the head. almost instantly a car stopped with 4 young kids in it and the 2 bolkes run off down kingston lane, next rd from me.i  have a severe stiff neck at the moment but i'm ok. i did go out the following night at midnight lookin about but the rd was empty.

as for waiting for surgery which i was due now the hospital put the admission request forms back in my file instead of faxed over to northwick park hospital.to be told 6 weeks ago i need urgent surgery there seems to be serious  negligence at the hosoital.. the same as 1987 resultung in 5 ops, 3 of which were emergencies. i seem to get a lot of bad luck in my life for some reason.

Sorry to hear that you were set upon, and glad that you are ok, but dont go out at midnight if you dont want to be attacked by Africans from nowhere :y
