Bearing in mind its 0923 when I write this, on a Sunday morning, about 20 mins ago the phone rings and an obviously "foreign" voice tells me that my double glazing is looking tired and yellow, and could do with replacement, and they will give me £1000 "part exchange" for it against all new from XYZ company's new range. International call, cos my caller display says so...............so how did they know I even had DG then? ::)
Blimey, these sales people that come up with the scripts are geting a bit good :D :D :D

Randomly trying their luck :-? :-? or maybe had a sales person check your house out ;D ;D ;D

Its usually the 'We are in your area' malarky that we get here.
Thats if we even answer the call...I have gone onto caller ID with BT....best thing I ever did....one glance at the phone and walk away ;D ;D :y
Edit....I have a book here with all 0800 and 0845 numbers listed. I note the number on the phone, type that number into Google and it comes up with 'Who calls me'.....then I list it in the book for reference. :y

I hope you thanked them for their concern over your wellbeing Mike. ;D ;D :y

Don't accept less than 66% discount.
I can find out how much it should cost.
Also reverse sales tends to scare the sales men. Ask for the name for our sales manager to call.
I'd let Everest off as one of their factories is a customer of ours ;D ;D
