Hi all,
I ordered from vauxhall-car-parts over 2 weeks ago via their online system and payed via paypal.
First 4 day weekend passed, no delivery, so I phoned them and they told me they didn't have my payment address nor any contact details for me so didn't send out the order. I received a confirmation email after ordering from their system showing all my details.
Anyway, I gave them my details and they said it will be shipped right away.
Second weekend passed, no delivery, phoned again and now they tell me they didn't ship it as they had no payment.
I have proof for payment via paypal and my bank account, so this is clearly a lie.
They then told me they won't send out the order but refund me???? How is that possible if they didn't receive the payment???? :o
Guess what, no refund received, so phoned again and strangely enough they said "we are doing it now".
I still haven't received my money back from them but still living in hope.
Let's see how it goes

Disappointing to hear your case but at the same time, thanks for posting it here. Always happy to hear of shopping experiences with VX part suppliers, good or bad.
Please keep us posted on the outcome. :y

Best to avoid them. Buy your bits from Albitz. :y :D ;D ;D ;D

Does that suggest that there will be a reversion to the original name. ;D ;D ;D

Quick update >:(
Tried every day last week to speak to them, no luck, no-one answered the phone.
Managed to get through today after about 10 attempts.
Guy told me it's on the list and will be done very soon.
2 h later no payment, phoned again and managed to speak to the same guy again, now having an excuse why it hasn't been done, but said the guy doing it is not there at the moment and will do it when he's back.
Guess what that was over 2h ago and now they don't answer the phone anymore.

This is the worst service I have ever come accross.

Pop down to your local cop shop with all the details and ask then to give them a quick call :y
Tell them you think its a scam :y
If the copper is half decient, he will give them a call.

Doubt the Police would do anything as it's a civil matter.
Better off I would have thought contacting Trading Standards regarding the matter.
There are laws with 'long distance' purchase / consumer act.

raise a dispute with PayPal. They were a bit slow dealing with one & only eBay/PayPal dispute but they got there in the end. :y

Yeah, done the paypal dispute straight away when they didn't refund me.
But anyway it's finally sorted and I ordered somewhere else now :y
