Title: The other Vulcan
Post by: Terbs on 11 May 2011, 07:28:10
Hi all,
I've posted this link in again, as where I previously put it, I think the thread had reached its 'end'

Its about the other Vulcan at Wellesbourne Airfield. It does taxi runs, and there is a show on in June :y

The bit I noticed was they want Classic Cars to display, so thought this could be a free/cheap way in for the Omega ;) :y

Do not want to get into what rates as Classic again...... but I have been to many agricultural/county/village shows, where anything goes. They just like to have lots of exhibits for the public to view.  :y

Edit....And, if its customised, they don't care how old it is !!!! ;)

Sometimes pop over and see what's happening with this on a saturday (My son's and I ride horses just up the road in Kineton) as the chaps are there working on it.

Small world really as there was a V Bomber Squadron based at Gaydon which, again, is only just up the road... Now a test track fro Tata / Jaguar / Aston Martin
