It's not the first time it's happened, although I fail to see how colour or creed makes something newsworthy.

I would imagine that we (or those charged with such things) would need to re-examine that age old proverb then.

Happened a LOT at the last ice age.

Musty be common as a lot of us are white and we are descended from Africa.

I recall the same thing a few years ago...

DNA tests proved it was 'their' kid, just weird genetics however unlikely.

plus normal 'mixed race' children tend to be a mixed colour, not one or the other.

I have to say, I just imagined the husband's face when he saw the baby for the first time, as in [size=14]WTF[/size] :o :o

Bet the wife had some quick explaining to do  :)

I remembering this happening before and the medical fraternity labelled the child a 'throw-back' and stated that one of the couple (i can't remember which) had a black ancestor somehwhere in their family history. sounds feasible i suppose, but let's all put ourselves in their shoes for a minute and imagine how we'd react. i know how i would and the words 'effing cheating b*tch' would be involved heavily!! ;) ;)

Remember early humans were all dark skinned.

This baby is just a mutation which works better in a less light and colder climate.

Like the europeans in the last ice age.

It just happens.

So tomorrow there will be a story about a white couple having a black baby, then we see its a terrible mix up  :-[
