I'm afraid, sadly, that I can't agree with Nige on this one.

This is the latest child trying to sing in a mature voice and failing to do anything other than sing in a child’s voice helped by amplification to sound what it's not.

The legion of those such as Hayley Westrenra, and Charlotte Church – former ‘voices of the angels’ and Russell Watson and Catherine Jenkins, doyens of the popular culture of ‘if they look good then they must sound good’ have such television to thank for boosting their meagre talents to far beyond their true level.

In general I think it comes down to a situation where if there is sufficient exposure given to such ‘talent’, there is an unusual circumstance such as a child singing in an unnatural voice or the individuals concerned look well, then that’s more than enough to promote their offerings.

Comes across a nice lass in the post performance interview with Pratt & Dick, but it still seems a bit freakish.
Children aren't children for long enough these days anyway, without adding pushy parents blinded by £ and $ to the equation.
She's 11 years old for goodness sake.

sorry what talent?
its just like x factor  i think they should ban all singing acts and tell them to come back and try x factor.
we need the comedy, the skill fully people and the people that have the talent to entertain.
