It is sad that he died but I really did not like the guy at all. I thought he was a detriment to the sport with his 'Yield or we both crash' attitude to racing. Not very sportsman-like.
Although I like F1, I will not be rushing to watch this one

Whilst I can't particularly say I liked him, his talent is something never seen since.
What I did always admire with Senna, and what is utterly missing from the current crop of gay primadonnas, is an utter, absolute, total, constant desire to win (at all costs)

I have similar feelings about Senna - but I'm still going to see this on Sunday. (Any excuse to get out of the house ;D)

If current drivers behaved the way he did they'd be very quickly banned from taking part in the sport, I suspect - as witnessed in the last race, running people off the road is frowned upon ;)

Sennas behaviour was angelic in comparison to some of the things Scumacher has been allowed to get away with over the years. ;) As far as I remember, the only person he deliberately drove off the track was Prost - Suzuka 1990 - but everyone seems to forget that Prost did it to him first, the previous year.
I really want to see this. Although he isnt my all time favourite driver, he was without doubt the greatest ever imo. More than that he was hugely charasmatic, intelligent, enigmatic and freethinking and speaking. I would imagine it will bring into sharp contrast just how sterile and tedious F1 and most of those involved in it are nowadays.

.. but his kind of total commitment is what would be expected from someone at the top of his game in a dangerous sport, surely?
It made the sport much more entertaining than the next generation of Schumacher'esque "you need the points more than me, so I'll take you out and make it look accidental" "racing".

Been waiting to see this for ages, all of the reviews have rated it very highly.
Have been checking bookings at my local cinemas for the last couple weeks and none of them are showing before the 21st. >:( :(
Looks like I'm gonna have to wait.

well, just been to see it - had to trek through to Glasgow as no where nearby is showing it, but I had to go through anyway for a few things so it worked out well. Utterly gripping, fascinating footage - some of the in-car stuff - Monaco especially - what hes doing in that car to keep it between the armco flat out is worth the admission fee alone, he was just full on all the time, even when leading by a country mile :o :o
and the entire running time is footage, all the interviews are voice overs - its not 90mins of talking heads, which i worried it might be :y
