catching the news last night i was struck by the photo of a towering England U21 player with what looked like an action man in a Spain shirt :o :o
anyone else see that? then a short clip of the action and it appeared to be giants in white shirts playing for England. Now, either all the most skillful players in England at U21 level just all happen to be 6'6" or they're not being picked for the right reasons (you know...skill, pace, intelligence, vision) ;D
yes - populating the team with lumbering giants may gain you a modicum of success at some level...but is it really the best way forward for development? :o

they are all over payed prima donnas in my opinion. How can a ref keep control with all of them earning more in a week than he does in a couple of years?

agree, they should have a worldwide cap on wages.

That's easy(to answer the title) ... It's shit! Yes the premiership rules, buts mostly due to foreign players!
To answer your text, it's exactly what Stoke did. Plus they got lucky and found a player with a massive throw in! Big lumps and a long throw! What else do you need? :)
