Title: Sitting Thinking, yes dangerous!!
Post by: Vamps on 13 June 2011, 00:32:06
About how I buy cars..... ::) ::)

swmbo Mig was bought blind on ebay and once the cam sensor was changed turned out to be better than would be expected of a blind purchase..... :y

Bought my car after much searching, found a 'Mint' car with good service history..everything that you would look for in buying a car..... :y

Broke down twice, Head Gasket and then Battery and Starter Motor and now it rattles from the top end and seems to lean to the left............ :(  I think I need to go shopping... ::) ::) ::)

I don't buy jack of gaybay unless its new or I really know what the item is.

No way would I ever buy a car off there. Unless the seller will allow me to view and buy and end the auction early or whatever. In effect it's just an advert as far as I'm concerned, ebay is a shit idea IMO. Seems I'm in the minority though..  :-/

The point I was trying to make is that the one I bought off ebay is great but the one I bought after trailing around for many 100's of miles has cost me a fortune in the 11 months i have owned it, in fact i could have bought another Omega..... :'( :'( :'(

I have done around 350 sales and purchases without any problems, items range from cars to cub scout badges, never any problems, I can only speak as I find.. :) :)

ive had a few cars off ebay, either gone and looked before bidding, or won auction then checked car is as described, there is a lot of shit on there tho, more so now then ever!

if yuo need to buy a car, what you really want is a mk2 cavalier. you do, you want one to fit new suspension too for the mot, and you want a blue one.........
