Has anyone on here heard of or used Dipetane.
Somebody reminded me of this product, I remember reading about it a few years back and looking at the blurb on a website it would 'seem' to be a bone fide product

Or is this just another 'snake oil' product?

Smells of snake oil to me. Deposits in combustion chambers haven't been a problem in modern cars since the advent of fuel injection systems and, in some respects, the thin layer of carbon that you will get on the chamber walls in a modern engine probably helps matters by reducing the heat, and hence power, lost through the head and piston crown.
As for the claimed 10% improvement in fuel consumption?
;D

theres a reason no retailer touches this stuff with a bargepole and they have to sell direct - trading standards would have them by the short and curlies ;D ;D ;D
add extra fuel to your fuel - genius :y
utter 'dangle berries' - keep your money 8-)

::)If every manufacturers claim for improved fuel economy held true; we`d all be having to stop every hundred miles (or so) to drain excess fuel out of the tank! ;D

As I thought, the old adage still holds good then, if it seems to good to be true, then it probably is too good to be true!
Just how the hell they get away with all the 'facts and figures' defeats me >:(
