Title: Tyre pressures with full load..
Post by: Weds on 18 June 2011, 21:34:03
Tyre pressures with up to 3 people on my omega are 30psi F and 33psi R but with a full load this jumps to 41psi F and 48psi R, what constitutes a full load ?

Next week I'm taking four people and all their luggage down to the French Alps what tyre pressures should I be using ?

That's as big a load as anyone's going to carry, max the tyre pressures  :y

Max load pressures for that vehicle I'd say. Although I would want to know exactly how much max load for an Estate is tbh. A saloon yes, 4 people and fully loaded with luggage means max load.

But an Estate might be expected to carry more... Like a pallet of bricks or something daft. Exactly how much weight equals max load...?
