I think there is a super irony that Britain is "greener" than ever but have allowed Fracking to exploit natural reserves. This despite all the issues in the USA (tap water that is so contaminated that you can set fire to it), hazardous chemicals in the air etc.

I read today that they have had problems with flammable tap water for years in some parts, owing to methane in the aquifers. Of course, Josh Fox, the Director of Gasland (the Chicken Little documentary) is a bit coy when Phelim McAleer questions him...
