We've had to use the back seats too, although I do have 2 alloy wheels (with tyres) and an inlet manifold in the boot  ::)

She just managed to spend £58 in Tesco getting some "essentials" and that doesn't include bread and BBQ stuff! :o

We plan to leave late morning, shopping on the way, so should arrive about 3.00pm ish.... :y

Are we going out for a meal? in the evening... :y

We are planning on mid afternoon.  Get set up and wrap ourselves round a convivial dry sherry or two - you know, afternoon tiffin for the gentrified - before making sure dinner is up and ready.

Hopefully cook will make it on time and have dinner ready for a reasonable hour.....   ::)

By my reconing, there will be a fair few on the Thursday evening.  We are bringing food to cook a decent meal onsite rather than one of us having to drive.  There again, we are used to camping so its no biggie either way, TBH...   :)

Easy either way, just thought that going out for a meal and then coming back for a tipple might be nice, but if the numbers get big then this is less of an option... :-/ :-/ :-/

Given that we know there is no way we can get our tent up tonight, its less of a rush for us to be there before 9ish. Suzie and I will probably grab something on the way, though have to be service station dross.

When she gets home, she needs to finish ironing ::), dig out some bedding and vacuum pack it (no way will it go in car otherwise), nip to shops for supplies etc...

I might need to take somebody up on their offer of a roof for the night, if thats OK  :-[

You might be easiest...  (oooh-err, missus)

...save getting airbed out, along with electric, only to have to get all the air out the next morning :)

No worries... Keep the bedding at the top ;)

2 single beds but will slide together. We've taken the double because it's a bit firmer ::)

Right, time to finish work, and do the rest of the packing.

To those going to Lakes, see you later. To those not, I'll probably be back Monday evening :y
