Title: Vulcan bomber
Post by: Tony H on 23 July 2011, 17:07:14
Just been down to the beach at Southport to watch the Vulcan. It did a fly past at an altitude of less than one hundred feet over the sands 8-). A very impressive rate of clime and manouvrebility when you consider the age and size of the aircraft. When she turned her back on you the noise from the engines were enough to make your fillings rattle. Really great to see that such an iconic aircraft from yester year can still grace the sky :y

We had the Red Arrows here in Lyme Regis today  :)

Although their routine hasn't changed over the years, when the weather is good as it was today, its still a very impressive show :y :y :y
