MP's - love em or hate em?
This is all in my own opinion of course - For more proof of widespread corruption today just look at the MP scandal of expenses. For instance, and I am sure many bof you will be able to name many more, Kieth Vaz now heads a select committee to oversee other MP's obey the rules. What happened then when during the expenses scandal he was asked by the local newspaper to explain why he had bought loads of silk, yes silk cushions for his office plus other high value items of furniture. Also why many members of his family were being paid from his expenses including an 80 odd year old but instead of being as vociferous as he usually is he opted to run away in the opposite direction. Honest...it looked like a scene from the Keystone Cops for those of you who can remember them. Frik me, that gives me age out a bit.....Wish that I could raise that level of speed with the belly he carries though! Corrupt? What else could it be when its all scratch my back and I will scratch yours?
Taxpayers.. just what are we expected to be? The never ending source of income for them to fritter away on themselves and abroad beggars? Wouln't be such a grievance if this countries debt had ben sorted first and until them we cannot afford to just willy nilly give to every cause that plays the sympathy card no matter what the problem. Ask yourself this... How many of those countries would do the same if we were to need their help? IMHO... NOT ONE! Nuff said. :D
