Being an old fashioned 'bitter' man I have tried many and enjoy regularly the produce from the Wytchcraft Brewery. Cabinet is full of it cos I buy the selection packs from Makro when they are on offer. Cris is the cider one, with the exeption of Old Rosie for me, as long as its sweet. All except lagers that is cos I cannot stand the stuff whoever makes it. When I was in Germany the taste of Amstel put me off lager for life UGGGGGGHHHHH! Tasted like chemicals! Coppaberg is a brill cider too as is Old Rosie...not tried the strawberry variant you mention yet but it sounds a bit interesting and definitely summery!!!!! :D

My current favourite is St. Austell Trelawny.  :-*

Picked up a few bottles at the brewery when on holiday. Wish I'd bought a couple of cases. :(

Amstell lager is truly disgusting even from a lager drinkers point of view.
Even as a born and bred Bristolian, i shamefully admit that i am not the worlds greatest cider drinker however, i do like a nice Koppaberg on a hot day and recently, Stella's Cidre.
Bath Ales do some stonking beverages and i only wish i didnt drive for a living as i would do my darndest to try them all :)

Hmm we live in the UK, the major cider producer in the world.

Why do we import cider?

Why is Tescos so crap for cider?

Small producer cider for me - largest I have is Westons, Thantchers is nice, Healeys cider is nice, their draft stuff is lovely in hot weather.

I had an organised visit to here: http://www.tringbrewery.co.uk/ a few weeks back.

Very educational evening and the guide (marketing director + sweeper up I think too) said if no one behind the bar then help yourself to the beer.

A good night was had by all :-)
