I seem to have a load of the 'high quality commemorative polycarbonate glasses' in my broken dishwasher ::)

I must be getting too old. I thought the music was too loud, turned what was supposed to be a socialble event into an antisocial one IMHO.  Don't get me wrong, I like my tunes, and like them loud, but there is a time and place. And it gave me a thumping headache.
