my boy is gonna take him tomorrow. the dog looks so down and depressed at the moment its so sad.

Wanna try our cat?

It obviously has an upset stomach......
So.....what i do with Holly in the same situation is....starve for 24hrs....
Then light food....get cooking :y .....i give Holly egg fried rice.....cook the rice.....then into the frying pan....no oil.....but add two eggs.....stir around till the eggs have cooked....wait till cold.....then serve....
The rice is light on their stomach.....the eggs give protein :y
If still carnt hold that down.....take to a vet :y

A vet first off.
But starve for 24 hours, giving only water.
Then feed it plain cooked chicken or fish and slowly re introduce ordinary diet.
But it's 20 years since I had dogs.

thank you :y

Similar no food for twenty four hours but make sure that fresh water is available at all times. After that try a little well cooked rice with a small amount of cooked chopped chicken breast mixed in with it. If things don't improve in twelve hours a trip to the vet is a strong recommendation.

all same advice, wont starve over night, but make sure theres plenty of fresh water down, if it doesnt want to go out try walk slowly around the garden, get to vets. if you notice a big change over night then call 24hr vet line. if you have insurance you might find its included in cover.
then like everyone said, start back on small amount of food, bland, just rice, cooked chicken breast (cold)
love the cat pics ;D
what dog is it? model? year? spec?

VET, straight away, if only for your own peace of mind.
One of our labs is very under the weather eating grass, and restless, I put it down to to humidity at the moment. Guess where he is going tomorrow?

As most of above
Starve for 24 hours ( plenty of water)
I normally feed mine ( german sheppard ) with a mixture of boiled rice or pasta with scrambled egg for a couple of days then start to introduce some dry mix into its food :y
No food with salts ( gravy ) for a week or so :y
Keep the dog cool and if it stops drinking ............... get it to the vets, pronto ;)

hopefully not, but he may of swallowed something, and got it stuck.
my border terrorist has done that trick and had to have a op, on the other hand, its been pretty hot, i dont know why they think its good to re eat it after its been thrown up!
sure he will be ok, maybe just needs some anti-b's or a jab of something.
i had to get mine sedated last week just to get his ears cleaned lol

ray give him something earlier and hes settled down now on the sofa, he seems to have attached himself to me since i have been here, and goes into a depression when i go out or sitting up the table rather than the sofa. hyes a real attention seeker and gives it the sad look if i dont wrap my arms round him every minute
-
ah thats good news then lol
mines the same, cus i mostly take him everywhere, he now gets seperation anxiety if i have to leave him. trouble is i dont know if he settles down after a while and starts again when he hears my car, we worked out every single time i get about 2 miles from house hes jumping around going mad barking! (barely barks otherwise) there isnt a lot of other noise here.
id see how he is tomoz, but maybe still worth a checkup at vets.

Dogs eating grass and then being sick is a heredity instinct that they used in old times to remove parasites from their digestive system. :D
My lurcher, given half a chance will be out in the garden searching for any long grass to do this every week of two. ::)
If my dog has a stomach upset, then I stave for a day, but make sure they have plenty of water at all times and then feed him boiled chicken and rice or egg and rice. :y

You can do what we used to do with the greyhounds when they had the wobbles. Plain and simple 'rennies' and it worked a treat. Many vet remedies are but diluted forms of our medication anyway and for simple things like that just a nights starvation with CLEAN water only will do no harm a dog can go days without food as long as it has plenty of fresh water.
Many dogs get upset stomachs and the craps this hot weather due to either drinking dirty water from outside or garden slugs which they seem to relish (UGGGGGH).
The more common cause is the use of fly sprays and air fresheners in the home which then settle on the top of the water bowl and they drink it! Before using a fly, or any other type of spray cover their food and drink bowls.
In the meantime Richie...plenty of TLC....like ours it looks spoilt rotten too :y

Great to know that normality has resumed. Heat does affect dogs badly and some breeds more than others.
Mine fell off the bed acting daft cos he has a habit of burrowing under the pillows but as he is nearly blind he smacked his front teeth when he hit the floor...no damage just a bit of pain and now we have to feed him milk every hour or so and doses of junior disprin every 4 hours.
No doubt he will play on it for as long as he can........not that he lacks attention anyway ::)
