Post by: martin42 on 07 August 2011, 11:52:33
Im going to be buying a omega next week, had a look at it yesterday and sounds ok engine wise, the thing that concerns me is that when i turned the engine of there was several beeps after,is this normal or is there something that needs sorting when i pick up the car.

That sounds like the Powersounder ttelling you it's on it's way out... Do a Google Search for Powersounder on this site and you'll see what we mean.

It needs removing/replacing ASAP as they have a habit of spontaneously combusting :o :o

Just as LD says - but it is an easy job to do yourself and costs nothing.

So that in itself shouldn't put you off the car.  But the fact that the current owner ignores obvious faults might be a concern...  ::)
