Whats the limit on having an MOT test before its due? BMW needs one on 20th September, but as I'm taking it for a service tomorrow wondered if I could get one done?
Its over a month so thinking no..... :-/

I am sure you can have 13 months MOT so I assume a month before its due :-?
-
You can MOT it as early as you like but, they will only give a max of a 13 month MOT
-
You can but it won't preserve the anniversary... i.e if MOT'd tomorrow it will expire 10/08/2012
That was the interpretation of the rules when I was testing ;)

its on your cert...the earliest day you can present to preserve the anniversary, while giving you chance to sort any issues :y

Hummm. Might as well leave it till end of the month. Excuse to come back and take it for a blast :)
Thanks chaps :)

I thought once it had been refused a certificate it was not deemed roadworthy :-/

Only if it's issued with a prohibition notice... i.e. Deemed dangerous to drive ;)
