Looks like I made some sort of fustercluck when moving Tony's post about battery charging. Says it went to genhelp but somehow, its disappeared!
Doesn't help that I should have moved it to the leccy section.
Apologies Tony.... :-[
-
Just been trying to trace it...not even showing up in last x posts
-
Yes, cant find it either, guess it was because I was posting to it whilst it was being moved
-
Nope, been electronically shredded.
Its the first time I've moved a post for a while as it takes absolutely 'kin ages on this machine for some reason. Says it went but haven't a clue where, unfortunately. Sorry..... :-[

Aw break I'tle take me ages to type that lot up again with my key board skills can you not retrieve it from some where? :'(

I saw your reply attached to the moved thread header when task first completed but not viewable when page was refreshed..

ahhhh was the anorakmode tags corrupted it...
[anorakmode]Note to all, a 2.5 wont have the aux timer on it (2000 model year) as it only appeared when the fg lighters were changed to aux points in 2001 (which is when the 2.6 arrived and the 2.5 went).[/anorakmode]
Tony, the battery amy have some sulphation on it from sitting on the shelf for some time (as the vx dealers dont shift the high Ah parts so fast). A drop tester wont show this up but the capacity will be seriously reduced.

Mmmmm bit like the thread itself, it's just like electricity, it's there but you can't see it :-/

dont know the internal structure of the site.. but if software on the face shows the indexes instead of actual data, it may help.. also it may check for lost nodes during re-indexing..
