Title: Irmscher Suspension or Lack Of
Post by: stevief on 05 June 2007, 22:27:54
After many months of deliberation I finally placed an order with LMF for a set of Irmscher springs after they had confirmed they were available from Germany.

Last Friday got a cll to say that Irmscher had made a mistake and they did not have stock and they were not getting any more in, however they would do me a deal on a full package of shocks and springs as there was only one set left and they were not prepared to split it.

Thought about it over the weekend as I have replace all the shocks over the last year but went ahead and phoned LMF on Monday to place the order. I asked them to check the part number before spending the money and it turned out the one set left was for a saloon :'(. Over the last 24 hours they have both been trying to locate parts but none are available so it looks like that's it for Irmscher suspension parts.

Full marks to the guys at LMF and Irmscher Technical for the wrk they have done though :y.

Back to the Eibach option!

Stevief,
Just out of interest, when you get the kit, could you have a look at the springs and see if they have an LP or LQ marking on them, please? Or neither :).
Thank you :).

Yoxubarl - I take it you mean the Eibach springs? They should be here tomorrow sometime so I'll let you know.

Phil - I've spoken to Steve Crook at LMF this morning and the situation is that there has been another enquiry on the remaining kit but he was holding off for me but it is now a case of when there sold there sold so he has confirmed the price at £375 + vat so £440. Retail price list has them at £585 incl Vat.
