Yep. Went to the brewery when I was on my hols. No tours and no freebies going, though. :( Unlike at St Austell. :y

Not a bad pint IMHO. :y

Hence the name. ;) It's a session beer, meaning you can concentrate on tossing a few of them back before the inevitable happens and it's game over. ::)

Yep. I find that about 5% is about the optimum strength for a beer. ;)

Yep. I find that about 5% is about the optimum strength for a beer. ;)


i can usually knock back caffreys like nothing if its on tap but i suffer the next day but generally stick to carlsberg or carling if i can in the pub but at the moment 1 or 2 is enough for me before i stop.

i havent been drinking opti, ive been to the pub but just dont feel like it to be honest.  i had 3 saturday afternoon and had a headache the rest of the night.  :(

agree totally ..don't really drink anything thats less than 5% unless i don't have a choice

My local had it in on draught as a guest beer a couple of times - quite quaffable I thought. [smiley=beer.gif]
