I downloaded some MPEG 4 files today, the file names were originally in Cyrillic and so they came through as a series of blanks and dashes.
When I try to delete I get the message "cannot delete 7300 - - - -2: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use."
I am at a loss what to do, any suggestions would be most welcome. :)

reboot - you pc prob thinks your wathcing them :y

do you have the cyrillic script on your pc?
it maybe worth installing it and then trying to delete it.
failing that you could move them to a folder and in dos delete the folder

Tried reboot - didn't work :(
Tried deleting from DOS - didn't work either :( :(
Just said "Access is denied"

It sounds as if it has been locked where it is part of a virus. :o :D
You can try changing the file suffix to something different like .old, reboot the system and then delete as the files should not be locked. Failing this use 'regedit' to search for the file names in the registry and delete any entries
