Title: Big Thanks to Loo Knee
Post by: VXL V6 on 29 August 2011, 21:26:10
Yet again one of our cars has visited Loo Knee Towers for some work, this time a de-cat and new cat back exhaust fitting.

So I just wanted to say a big thanks to Daz for giving up his bank holiday Monday to perform the necessary surgery on Jane's Estate.

We now know how the Cat is constructed on 2.2DTi's and exactly how to open them up to make an MOT friendly de-cat! Needles to say it's a little more involved than first thought.

So once again a big thanks to Daz and a recomendation to anyone who is looking for someone to work on thier car  :y

How did the Eternal exhaust fit, ok?

I've had a quick response, they wanted a few details from me. Interesting to see what they say next!

Much better pickup when pulling away from stationary and when you hit the turbo rev range the acceleration is much more urgent.

Eternal Exhaust fitted like a glove. Will be getting one for the V6 in the future.  :y

Oh and when I got back the range was 508 Miles and the car had done 178 Miles since being filled up yesterday...
