mu mum has one and they are good. not sure on cost of electric though

What about underfloor heating in there??
-
I used one when I was in the barrack block in the forces, they're pretty good. Well, I never had any grief with it although thats going back about 20 years ;)

I have used these on and off over the years, no problem, we have two of the shortened 'crunched up' ones in the caravan (Static) in the bedrooms and they do a fine Job, have a thermostat fitted so level of heat can be determined, not sure about the running costs, but we do not run up a huge electric bill over the year................. :) :) :)

Exactly, Kid's and a couple of extra Pounds, here and their, seem to go hand in hand.........like crackers and cheese.............. :D :D :D

bought a delonghi bambino for the little ones room due to a harsh last winter - it is small and powerful enough - was more expensive than larger/higher capacity models but it works really well and would recommend it

There ok but gobble electric and can cost the best part of 40p an hour to run as unlike a storage heater, there not a very good energy store so dont work well on economy 7 alone.
The cheapest to operate whould be to add an extra rad to the central heating system (which is only plumbing so easy enough)

Don't ever play darts near one, especially if you're not very good.....the oil comes out :( ::)

As MDTM says, very expensive to run. If it is more than just very occasional use, its worth exploring other options :y
