Can't find the thread I started the other day (although I didn't bother to look past the first 3 pages), but it seems the tumour is still there and surgery is required.

So this tuesday I will be in Frimley hospital and Lt Col Edwards will be engineering me a new ar$ehole, stitching up the old one, and taking a liver biopsy so that part can be dealt with after this first lot.

Currently having a few days in Leics with my daughter & the grandkids before the surgical onslaught starts, so it's odds on I won't be posting for the next couple of weeks at least but I will be taking the lappy and a mobile for a bit of net access if I do actually find the energy.

Ah shite, sorry to hear that Martian, after your last post I thought everything was going your way. You sound like a tough bloke, so I know you'll be well equipped to deal with all this, so keep your chin up and hope to hear from you soon

Ah yes the drugs.
As is typical with my luck, I finally get access to the good stuff just when I'm at the age where I can't see any point to being completely wasted, yet I suspect on this occasion I will be pressing that button with vigour  ;D

I can assure you the food is crap.
However that is not a problem as there is a microwave on the ward, and my missus will be bringing up the food  :y


To everybody else, many thanks for your wishes.
I will try not to do anything daft in the next few days (such as die on the operating table) as I still have quite a few things on the "to do" list.

Friday night and visiting time has just finished.
My dinner for the evening was KFC, followed by lots of sugary drinks such as Coke & Lucozade.
Roll on the day I learn to start peeing & crapping again, because that's the day I go home  :y

The train now leaving bay C1 on ward F8 is destined for the land of Z's on planet tramadol, laters all.
