Title: Off road storage options
Post by: notacarbuff on 07 September 2011, 19:34:43
Hi there I am looking for a bit of advice.

I am thinking of replacing the miggy but while I dont mind leaving the miggy on the road I would like to give its possible replacement a bit more protection and security.

I have a short drive way, enough to put the car on and a bit more but no garage or car port, or space for either.

I was looking for a lockable cover that would keep the weather out and keep the car out of sight of the local yobs. I can't find anything quickly via google search so its over to the power of the OOF.

Any ideas appreciated. :y

I'll look after it. Nice dry environment, little in way of salt. I'll give it a "run" every now and again to keep the battery charged and the discs free of rust. When you drop it off I will run you to the airport. Just give 24 hours notice when you want to collect it and I will give it a wash and meet you at the airport (Malaga, Almeria or Granada).

PS do you mind if I use it for my school " OOF maintenance for beginners full board"?  ;D

covers are a bad idea
they scratch and rub the paint and trap condensation

Problem with covers....the local yobs think there is something special being hidden, so have more incentive to attack >:( :y
