We missed out on our roast chicken that had been in slow cooker all day.

Mrs TB felt a bit icky from something rich she had eaten the night before, I felt sick as my hoof was killing me (to the point I can't drive at all now).

I'm sure the friggin' cat enjoyed it though  >:(

If your foot is hurting that much you should really go get it seen by a doc.  I know your feeling towards doctors et al, last I heard you werent even registered with a GP.

If a bone is broken and displaced by leaving it you force them to have to rebreak it at some point in the future with no guarantee you wont have permanent disfigurement of the foot.

Now get your arse to A&E or a minor injury unit if you havent already ;)

Its only pain, it will go away ;)

Though there was a moment last night when I did consider getting her to drive me to Horton General  :-[

Like yesterday morning, doesn't feel too bad this morning, so unlike yesterday, just planning on keeping my 14.5st of bulk off it, and trying to rest it.  Still badly swallon though.  I have to wear flip-flops yesterday when watching tunnie do my rear springs ;D

No it won't, it will heal badly causing you a lifetimes worth of pain!

But guess if you're too much of a baby to get medical help, you deserve it!

(note to all OOF meet attendees - stamp on TBs bad foot.) [smiley=evil.gif]

Given the complete lack acknowledgement when I've injured myself working on his sheds, I felt it was only right I "accidently" run over his foot with my jack  ;D

Having broken a bone in my foot on the way to the pub many years back (my mates carried me the rest of the way) I think I'd hobbled up to the bar to purchase my 6th pint of Tennants Extra (in the bad old days in Camberley when you couldn't get anything more drinkable) when I bumped into an old sea dog of a Naval medic.

He asked me why I was limping and then provided me with some valuable information on diagnosis of such conditions: If you're on the 6th pint and it still hurts - it's not "just a sprain". ;D

On his advice I spent the remainder of the evening in Frimley Park explaining umpteen times that it was indeed on the way to the pub and my current state of inebriation had nothing whatsoever to do with my injury.

It didn't half smart, though, for a good few weeks. I don't think my foot has ever been the same since and it was only a poxy little insignificant-looking bone that broke.

Err, no, I wasn't  :-/

Besides, I'm not so daft to use Android, so my silly little phone doesn't do that.  So no idea what happened, assuming it was me who locked it  :-/

Cold bath, not hot!  Ice will bring the swelling down!
Just go talk to someone who knows what they are doing please!

Though we could be tempted to use sammy sledgehammer to test your reflexes for you! ::) ;D

Either.

This HP is a perfect fit.  My poor old Tosh was always going in.  Surprisingly, it still works :o

With pleasure but don't think I could stand the rejection when you'd rather have a cup of tea!

Imagine the strength of tea you'd need to recover from me in a nurses outfit, my bedside manner can be somewhat domineering! ;) :-*
