Title: "Heads up"literally for the lakes meet drivers

Hi all not been posting fer a few days due to a fubard p.c. Anyway back to the subject, anyone driving to the lakes meet I have it on good authority that the local constabulary have a liking of parking in unmarked vans over the M6 and measuring your speed so keep an eye on your velocity ;)

Favourite spot is just after J37 and on A66 10m from Penrith. They sit in slip lane at J39.  There is also an unmarked Volvo S60

Location published on Cumbria Safety Camera website  -  be careful.  ;)

Not fussed myself as I'll be dragging a 15ft snail behind me  :(

Think I might well drive up the A1 and over on the A66.......the M1 is buggered at the moment around Chesterfield....
