Dent Junior, Tim, delivered safe and sound to RAF Honington this morning and so into a new life. :y Proud as punch but missing him already. :'(

guess you are missing him and he i guess is going into the RAF.??...you have every reason to be proud of him :y

Yep, going in to RAF Regiment as a gunner, he been waiting for 18 months for this day. :y

Bob, Good luck to him :y

I was hoping my son was going into the army, but unfortunately it didn't happen.
With things as they are at the moment, I can't think of a better thing to do than join the forces.
He will have a great time as long as he can get through the basic training. :y

Thanks Simon. Yeah I think he knows what he's got to go through in his basic training - he's entry tests and assesments were gruelling enough but he's a tough lad. :y

Great news ,forces a pretty good place to be in this day and age,waiting for news on my eldest going into the Navy,could be a year or so wait but he doesn't mind too much as he is lucky enough to have a job to tide him over :y
