Title: Day Trips to the seaside
Post by: tomoco on 15 May 2008, 15:41:29
Come on you lot, It's summer, plenty of day trips planned for the east coast, Skeggy, Ingoldmells, Mablethorpe, Yarmouth. Surely not all members miggies are always broke. Why dont we arrange a meet at the seaside, bring the kids, dogs, sheep and the wives. always plenty to sea and do, the fairs, the shops, the markets, the pubs (not if your driving). Only need a few of us. Fancy yarmouth (not been for years) used to have a good market. But not fussy. Ingoldmells has Fantasy Island(Massive market next to it) All have sand if you just want to chill.
I work every other weekend so alternate saturdays (any) are good for me. This is my weekend in

The Grand Union Canal is nearby, and we have a big pond in town. Does that count?

He He. "Clacton on sea, the place to be!" so the DJ in that dodgy night club under the pier used to say. I didn't agree with him. ::)

I can't comment about Clacton as I've never been.  However I think Morcombe sadly is the town they closed down.
