Title: Reading meet no. 6
Post by: mike213735 on 26 December 2008, 22:06:58
Ok, Christmas is out of the way and I need to meet up with Rob & Marti to discuss a deal, so it's time to arrange another meet.

I propose that we have it at Rivermead Leisure Centre (as ever), Richfield Avenue, Reading, on Saturday 17th January at say 12pm?

All that can attend please copy and paste and add your name below.

1) mike213735 (hoping for a deal)

Thanks
Mike

No Marti?
Surely she's not going to let us down?

Rob / Marti - how likely is it that a deal can be worked out and both Goldie and I can get what we deserve?

Thanks
Mike

As I said, same old faces.....

It appears that the usual suspects are now 5 in number :)

However, all are welcome....Paul needs practice in making tea for others.

Just thought you might be getting bored making tea for the same few people.

Car sorted! What was it?

I think we should leave the meet at 12 and either you just turn up when you can or I can drag the crowd round to your work. Up to you?

Thanks
Mike

It was the rear offside tyre bald on the inside tread.... well what tread really...... No more doughnuts for me then  :(

I don't mind Mike might be a bit easier doing it that way (you drag everyone round to me) just give me a ring just before you come round after 1 pm though, everyone would have gone by then.

If anyone needs to do any repairs then let us know in advance so I can sort out space (1 vehicle at a time inside)

Just wondering if while your at Rivermead could you have a look and see if the Holiday Inn (Premier Inn) is still open and more importantly the Pub.

I was trying to book a room there for september but the stupid woman on the telephone informed us the hotel has shut down  :-[

I go there every september for a show at Rivermead so its ideal to stay in. Would appreciate it if you could find out for me otherwise will have to try and book at the Plaza at the end of the road which means further to stagger/walk  :D on the saturday night after the party  ;D

I will be bringing the bus.

I need to grease the grease nipples on the suspension and check out my transmission leak on the Jeep :)

The only Jeep at an Omega meet eh?

Paul, Rob said you were not working now, so I'll see you there at 12?

Could have done with that info when ou posted it. ::) Brought the Westfield over for a run but got stuck in horrendous traffic by the Stadium and didn't get there until 13:30. Nobody to be seen and couldn't find your unit. :'(

Still, got home before it rained. ;)

We may also come, but cant promise - there's three of us and you know how difficult is for two ladies to sort their stuff, especially when the smaller one is always hungry ;)
Rivermaid car park again?
What if it's going to rain tomorrow?
