Title: What's this worth?
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 08 June 2007, 22:03:14
I work in IT, but have no idea of the second hand equipment market.

What's this worth?

AMD Athlon XP 1800 CPU, (1600MHz)
Either 256 or 512mb RAM
40 GB Hard Drive
CD re-writer
Onboard Sound / VGA / LAN
No windows licence
17" CRT screen

Working condition

THe monitor may fetch something IF it is a flat good quality one.

But TBH the rest is worth very little. I'd tidy it up for a relation.

There were a few eg that brand Jaime hates and I like - photo alterers like them and some of them were quite pricey. However if it is a goldfish bowl - naff all

I used repair and sell monitors, and occasionally we would get in Eizo flat screens (CRT). They were about 21" and in very popular because of the superb picture. They also had a built in anti theft device; they were VERY HEAVY! ;D ;D ;D

Opps, didn't realise you were actually trying to sell it.  I still stand by my comment - I struggled to give away an AMD XP 2000, 512Mb, 30G HDD, Geforce 4 vga, DVD writer, and an XP licence (OEM)
