i was speaking to a mate of mine today who works at a gokarting track in fradley park
its a big out door track
they also own the local go karting track in walsall
i asked about prices
and he said get numbers and he will sort a good price out
he will also set it up as a grand prix with lap timings as well
if any of you are up for it post your names below then once numbers are sorted i can get prices then sort out dates so it can work round other meets work etc etc

Hmmm.... I prefer the single engine Karts (idealy 260cc+)
The Bi karts with such a small engine are not that great, in fact the last time I went in a kart with an engine that small it had 2 of them!
Depends what they are robbing on price I guess as there are better about.

This one south of Leicester is also very good!

Then over near grantham there is Ancaster:

And a half decent (rare) indoor one:

Daytona at Milton Keynes is also very good, quite a demanding (in that it has a full suite of corner types) circuit, and is 1.2km long. Pretty pricey though - must be about 5yrs ago, and it was £65 per head with a minimum of 20. That was for a 10m practice and a 40min non-stop race. They do team endurance (2hr) as well, but worked out similar £ per min in the kart (with 4 drivers)

Sounds similar to Ancaster....that ws 40 quid a head for a similar setup....and a similar very demanding circuit!

Ow yes, the ancaster ones are LPG.....and when you take your foot off the throttle you get a 1 foot flame out the exhaust! ;D

This National-level karting circuit is just two miles from here just off the A5; `nice circuit in a beautiful setting and it would seem it`s not too costly:
