Title: Anyone interested in Scottish Meets
Post by: fife_omega_v6 on 01 January 2009, 23:13:06
Lets try and get our migs meeting up and we can always tag along!!

If we can get numbers i can get a stand organised for fast and modified 2009! Lets show the cars for what they are.

Looking forward to seeing the results

I think the Scottish contingent frequently meet up in a lakeside carpark for a BBQ and spanner twirl - normally goes under the thread title of Jockular Omegas (JO) x.

Not quite the same as showing cars at a show, but probably as much/more fun anyway :y

Its the top carpark of the Queensferry Lodge Hotel.  We initially met in the carpark under the Rail Bridge but were seriously cramped, so moved up here.

Jim - there was another meet at Loch Lomond inbetween times but I think you were painting your nails, or doing your hair or something....   ;)   ;D

We have previously discussed the ground rules for your coming up here...  ;)    Would only need a suitable venue to coincide and your all the way.  :y

Could possibly (and I mean possibly...) see if we could use a nearby private motorway for some fun and games around that time.

Must make some enquiries....   :-X

Been one in Strathy Park before, no probs...

Generally, look at cars, talk asorted 'dangle berries', do simple jobs (and not so simple sometimes) and now able to do software updates, fault clearances etc....

Depending on where and when, can be as short or as long a meet as the majority want.....  Some of the meets down south are for the weekend and some serious work gets done - cambelts, suspension, difgfs etc. - as well as some serious beer consumption and serious 'dangle berries' talk......   :y
